One of my favorite ages to photograph is 8 month old babies. Another thing I love to photograph is return clients. Put them together and you get one of my favorite kind of sessions! Seeing mama again with her beautiful baby girl was such a joy. It’s so so important to have images of yourself with your babies. Not just for yourself (but that’s so important too). But for them. So they have something to look back on one day. I often think of how much I would love to have images like these of me and my mother. Documenting her early days of motherhood and getting to see all the love in her face. Here are some of my favorite images from our session together - enjoy!

Baby boy with the most beautiful platinum blond hair. I was so thrilled to see this family in my studio for their newborn session - I always love seeing families again. One question I’m often asked: can older siblings take part in newborn sessions too? The answer is of course! I love seeing siblings during sessions. They should get to take part in the fun, after all this is a big event for them too (even if they do come just play in the curtains!). One of the benefits to holding your maternity session in the studio is the opportunity to wear more than one outfit. I know that many moms love the idea of capturing their baby bump in an intimate way, but want to also have images that they are comfortable with sharing with coworkers and family members.
