Getting to see Alissa again for her second maternity session was so wonderful. We held her first maternity session outdoors, so this time Alissa chose to hold her session in the studio. And of course this time around not-so-baby Jane was there for her maternity session too! I photographed Jane for her newborn session and I can’t believe how big she’s gotten since then, she is going to be the absolute best big sister to her little brother.

I know that many moms love the idea of capturing their baby bump in an intimate way, but want to also have images that they are comfortable with sharing with coworkers and family members. It was such a joy meeting Jess for her maternity session in the studio. She borrowed a white lace dress from the studio wardrobe for the first half of her session, and brought a lovely ivory dress from home as a second look - she was gorgeous in both!
