Washington DC Maternity and Pregnancy Photographer | Baby on the Way

With maternity sessions, I often find myself trying to give my clients what I wish I had from my own pregnancy. Just as I was planning my own maternity portraits, I was interrupted by pre-term labor that kept in the hospital for a week, and then on bedrest for almost three more. I didn’t have the opportunity to capture my pregnancy in the way I wanted to, and I so wish I had. I wish I had images like these to remember that time by. I wish I had images to remind me of what that time was like. And while my body felt different and new and unsure, it was also miraculous and amazing and wonderful. I was so thrilled to photograph Ayanah for her maternity portraits, here are some of my favorites from our session - enjoy!
