Baby boy with the most beautiful platinum blond hair. I was so thrilled to see this family in my studio for their newborn session - I always love seeing families again. One question I’m often asked: can older siblings take part in newborn sessions too? The answer is of course! I love seeing siblings during sessions. They should get to take part in the fun, after all this is a big event for them too (even if they do come just play in the curtains!). Celebration of Pregnancy | Northern VA Maternity Photographer

I have a heartfelt passion for maternity sessions. I believe that every mom deserves images of herself during pregnancy. I often joke with my clients that pregnancy feels like it will last forever, but in the end it's so very fleeting. The anticipation of meeting your new baby is top of mind, and you just want to snuggle the baby boy or girl that you're about to meet. It’s something that you can’t go back and re-do once it’s over, and in a blink your baby will be here and you'll wonder how it passed by so quickly. Our bodies do amazing, wonderful, and miraculous things to bring that new baby into the world - and it deserves to be celebrated and remembered.
