They always say that the days are long and the years are short. Never is that more true then looking back at all the babies and families I’ve met in a single year. This year was filled so many beautiful moments and memories. Looking back, I’m so grateful for it all.

It’s almost overwhelming to look over so many sessions and so many images with so many beautiful families. Maternity sessions, new babies, families all together. These are the moments that inspire me and drive my creative heart. These are the moments that make me love your families and adore your babies.

I could never choose just one favorite. The images I share here on this blog and on instagram represent just some of my favorites from each session. Images that make my heart sing, and I hope they do the same for you.

2019 Holiday Event | Northern VA Children's Photographer

So much fun at this year’s Children’s Holiday Even!. I got to see so many families again before the holidays got underway. I saw so many siblings, babies, and big kids. One of my favorite things is capturing photographs of mothers with their children. Whether it’s a maternity session with baby number two (or three!), a newborn session with a first time mom, or a family session when the kids are older - no matter what kind of session it is, I think it’s so important that you have images of yourself with your children. Just think, when was the last time you had photographs with your mother?

When mom Maxime contacted me, right away she said she wanted images of her and her baby together, and I knew we were going to capture something special. I adored getting to meet baby Emily in the studio for their session. Here are some of my favorite images from our time together - enjoy!
