Welcome to the World Andrew | Washington DC Baby Photographer

There is such beautiful sweetness in being born. With every new baby I see all the possibilities of the world laid out in front of them. Who will they become? How will they change the world? Will they be an artist? A doctor? A teacher? So many opportunities await in their future.

But now, in their first days home, he is simply loved and adored. By his parents and new big sister. Whatever the future may hold, today is a gift. His arrival means he’s already changed his family’s world, and there’s so much more to come.

I loved getting to see them after documenting their maternity session. Here are a some of my favorite images from baby Andrew’s newborn session - enjoy!

Washington DC Maternity and Baby Photographer | Waiting for Baby Boy

I adore getting to see my families again and again. This maternity session was so special as they were waiting for their second baby, a perfect baby boy. And of course big-sister-to-be was included as well. This is such an important time, and it’s so important to have everyone there to mark the time. Melissa chose some beautiful dresses from the studio wardrobe for her session. I love how they compliment her, highlighting her natural beauty.
