I have said it a hundred million times and I will say it a hundred million more: I cannot get enough of newborn sessions and their new big siblings. No matter how old they are, they are always a riot and half and I love them so much for it. Even more when it’s a kiddo that I photographed as a newborn. Seeing how they’ve grown and react to this new milestone is a favorite. Here are some of my favorite images with new baby Oscar and his big sister (and their wonderful parents) - enjoy!

Every session just gets sweeter and sweeter. I’ve been so fortunate to work with this family several times now, and each time is even better than the last. With baby Mirabelle they are officially a family of four, with two under two! I have always loved the idea of sisters (I, personally, have a son and 4 brothers - so sisters is so novel to me!) and these two are so close in age - I imagine them stealing each other’s clothes as teenagers in no time.
I’ve loved getting to photograph this family over the few years with their two babies, including big sister’s newborn session, and mama’s second maternity session. Here are some of my favorite images from Mirabelle’s newborn session - enjoy!

I’m sitting in my studio as I write this, and all I can think about is how in awe I am. Of course I’m proud of this space and what I’ve been able to do here, but mostly, I’m in awe at the families and babies that have visited me here. Everyone from the silly siblings, tired dads, and beautiful moms - it’s amazing to reflect on the people who have come through my door.
This family was certainly no different at all. I met mom and dad at her maternity session, but didn’t get to see big brother until the newborn session. Big brother is already a teenager, but so in love. It was wonderful to get to photograph a brand new family together, together in photos for the first time.
