a few things to keep in mind:
~ sessions are for children & siblings only and do not include additional family members, however if your child is not sitting on his/her own yet, one parent may be photographed as well.
~ all children must be at least 2+ months old
~ what to wear: your child's favorite holiday pajamas or light colored neutral clothing is recommended
~ galleries typically include 7-10 images for you to order from

FAQ
Who can participate in a holiday session?
Holiday sessions are for babies, children & siblings only. Babies who cannot yet sit up unassisted may be held by a parent. These sessions are for current and previous KJP clients only.
Where will my session take place?
All sessions will take place on December 6, 2025 at Kate’s residential studio in Fairfax, VA.
Oops! I booked my session for the wrong day! Can I reschedule?
Due to the limited number of sessions available for this event, reschedules cannot be accommodated. Please make sure to book the correct date and time you want!
What to wear?
Your child's favorite holiday pajamas! Great options include neutral pajamas (cream, gray, etc.), neutral casual & holiday wear, or other winter and holiday themed clothing. Christmas colors (Red, Green, Gold) and/or neutrals are most recommended!
How will I receive the images from my session?
You will be sent a link to a password protected online gallery after your session where you will be able to view your images. Your gallery will be active for five days for you to select your favorite images and place your order. Each session includes one complimentary digital image.
Will I get my images in time for Christmas?
Yes! Digital images will certainly be available before the holidays so you will have those to share with family and friends. While there are too many variables (lab turnaround time, shipping carriers, etc.) to guarantee Christmas delivery for other artwork, artwork will be delivered as soon as possible. If you're thinking of giving artwork as a gift for the holiday season, please let Kate know right away.
How do I book a session?
Reserve your portrait session by selecting your preferred session time above and clicking "reserve session," then go through the following screens to secure your session. These sessions always sell out quickly so don't wait!
