I had such a fun time during this session. Not only was baby Rhys a dream, but big brother Ewan came and played with me for a little while too. That kiddo is a hide and seek champion. These two brothers are going to be a riot as they grow up together. I imagine endless laughter, lots of games, and heaps of brotherly love are in this family's future. Congratulations again the arrival of your newest little guy O family!
Handsome Mr. Ian is one of the most squishable little babies I've had the honor of photographing. I cannot get over his perfectly pinchable cheeks and sweet baby rolls. He was a dream throughout the session and just loved sleeping on his tummy while I took his photos. His two big sisters joined us for part of his session, and they are two of the coolest big sisters around. They invited me to Chuck E Cheese afterwards, so there's your proof of their coolness right there. He's going to have a blast running around with him. But most of all, my favorite images of this handsome little man are the ones with him and his mom. He loved being snuggled up so close to her and you can see the love between them instantly. Congratulations again to this newest family of five!
Gryffin is one very special little girl. Her parents moved heaven and earth to have her, a story that made me tear up when I first heard about it (and still warms my heart to think about). I feel so fortunate to have gotten the opportunity to meet her family and take her newborn photos. And she was a complete doll to photograph. Her squishy little lips and lovely lashes make me want to cuddle my monitor (weird? still true). No doubt her big brothers will be showing her how to play sports and run around with the dog in no time. I bet she'll give them a run for their money when the time comes too! Congratulations, H family, on your new little girl!
I may have gushed over Abby's hair for a good 5 minutes when I first met her. And I may have, during her session, continued to gush over it whenever I happened to notice once again how amazing it was. She is destined for hair model fame. It's undeniable.
Abby was a darling throughout her session (even if she didn't share her secrets for perfect hair with me), and I loved working with her and her parents. I photographed her mom for her maternity session, but this was the first time Dad got in front of my lens and precious Abby loved every second of it.
"Oh Susie Q, baby I love you, Susie Q..."
Her last name may not start with Q, but dear Suzy stole my heart. I had to wait a bit for Suzy's session, so I met her the weekend she turned 4 weeks old. That sweet smile, that gorgeous face, and of course her wonderful parents were so lovely to be around. This little girl has already proven that she has strength beyond measure and grace to go along with it. Exhibit A: That great high kick she showed mom!
